Fans of the game Blood?
You know that old DOS game?
Well, if you remember it and you can find some art we can collect it here, maybe we can start a Blood 2 multiplayer game sometimes, too.

Currently I'm trying to get the whole group involved in making a Blood RPG using the RPG Maker 2003 engine. With all our combined efforts, we hope to create a good fan game based on a great game.

"I'm in the process of trying to figure this out with Atari. We will see how it goes."

- from the Post Mortem forum.
Jace Hall, founder and former CEO of Monolith Productions, is looking to bring back 1997's original gore-fest of a game, Blood. Hall brings the idea up on The Postmortem, a Blood fan forum, gauging interest and asking for wish lists in a potential Blood remake.

"To be clear, I am thinking of bringing the ORIGINAL Blood game back as it was, with functionality alterations/enhancements that are similar but superior to ZDAEMON's," Hall writes. "I would also make it work on all platforms, and not just PC."

Hall has all of the legal rights and issues "handled" and will get support from anyone with a legal investment in Blood, he says. Hall will be the one footing the bill the new game as well: "One thing to also know is that if I go ahead and attempt to bring Blood back, I will be the one actually paying the bill. It is certainly going to cost money to do this, and I will not likely be getting my money back. It will be all for the fun of it. Just something to know."

Hall has reservations about releasing the source code for Blood, writing, "Part of what I'm hoping to achieve with this potential project is a game that really allows people to build measurable value in their cummulative game accomplishments." The conversation is on-going at The Postmortem if you'd like to share your blood-soaked dream list with Hall himself.
Hey guys, how's it going etc.

I'm working on an online turn-based Role-Playing game written in PHP.

I call it Lokemundux Cruo - The World of Blood and it's inspired by Blood's fictional universe with all its enemies and demon-worshipers.
It's your run-of-the-mill rpg where you earn gold (or gamble it away), buy weapons and equipment, fight monsters, level up, start cults and worship the dark lord Tchernobog.

Registration is free, there are no ads on the site and since it's browser-based you don't have to download anything.

You don't have to report any bugs either, but if you decide to try it out, let me know what you think, feedback is always nice :D

You can read more about the game in the Blood Wiki: [link]

Or you could click the following link to play Lokemundux Cruo - The World Of Blood now: [link]
This blog was also posted over at Transfusion-game.com, a mod-site for Blood.

So I've been doodling with OpenRPG which, if you've never heard of it, is an Internet application that allows people to play Role Playing Games in real-time over the Internet. It's fully customizable and blah blah blah dice and charts and whatever. This is what it could look like:

[link]

Over the years I've been looking into modding other games to fit the Blood-universe, such as Mordor: The Depths Of Dejenol, MUDs, Rouge-like games and that Lokemundux Cruo demo I made a while back.

The reason I've been doing this is mostly because I've always wanted to take the role as a Cultist and go through the daily perils of worshipping the Tchernobog and keeping the zombies out of the brain-storage and whatnot.

While playing Blood I've come upon moments where the enemies seem to have been roaming free as if they've had their own goals to fulfill. Maybe I've been playing this game for too long...

OnRPG has a learning-curve so I'm no expert with it. Maybe there's a better program to do this? My dream would be to experience the Blood-Universe and go through the various ranks of the Cabal because I've always felt that this is an angle that could be developed further.
OR why not live as a Zombie for a day? Or an Innocent Citizen? Or maybe even a Rat?

Sorry if this was bit of a rant, but this is one of the few things I'm really passionate about.

If you know of a better program to use, or if you're just interested in trying OnRPG one night, please leave a comment!
By default, the rules were pretty strict in regards of submissions and blog entries, etc. So I decided to take the time to cut everyone some slack, a couple key points (since I'd like to clarify what you can do now):
-Anyone can suggest a Deviation for the featured or art section. To submit to the "Featured" section is subject to admin vote
-Any member can post a blog entry to organize a multiplayer game or whatever they'd like to say Blood-related. All blog entries are automatically approved
-All admins are now allowed to vote on Deviations suggested for the gallery
-All suggestions to the "Faves" Gallery are automatically approved

If anyone has any other suggestions for these rule changes, feel free to express them here

I think Duke stole Caleb's line in the DNF demo. "Good, bad--I'm the guy with the gun!"

And yes I am aware that line was from Army Of Darkness.

If anyone here plays DC Universe Online, go into the PvE server The Last Laugh and look for a guy named Caleb Blood. You will not be disappointed. Also look for a guy named DukeNukemForever, if you're interested.

It's a damn shame they can't find the source code for an HRP.

I made Caleb in DC Universe Online! He's a hero with fire abilities, his mentor is Wonder Woman, he uses dual pistols, and the name I had to give him is Caleb Blood. Right now he's dealing with Felix Faust, but soon he'll have to contend with the Cult of Blood and their attempts to resurrect Trigon, son of Tchernobog(not really; I just made that up). He can be found in the PvE server, The Last Laugh.

Matt Saettler has the source code.

Also the whole "we lost the source" is just a excuse by the publishers to shelve it away and sit on their fat asses on it the long they want.
